Here’s Quick Temper with Andrés Cerpa-

I want to stop time long enough to touch the ether.

Who do you hope reads your work?

I hope my work makes its way to young people who are caring for family members, who are trying to love and be loyal to the people that depend on them, while also carving out their own lives and identities outside of the role of caregiver.

Where does the anger in your work come from? How does it manifest?

At times, the poem on the page emerges from a compiling of muffled screams.

Angry book recommendations for angry readers?

Andrés Cerpa will be reading with An Angry Reading Series on March 9. Come through!
